The National Microbiome Data Collaborative Community Conversations invites panelists to join us in discussing topics of broad interest for our microbiome research community. Metadata standards and consistently processed multi-omics data are essential to successfully develop a FAIR microbiome data infrastructure. These standards, including standards for sample, preparation, process, and instrument data, are built on the contributions and collaboration of community members with a common language.
In this Community Conversation, the NMDC invites a diverse array of panelists who work directly with standard development and implementation. You will learn what it looks like to contribute to community standards and the importance of using these standards in your own work.
